If you have clear skin or have never had acne, you are probably unaware of the frustrations that acne sufferers face on a daily basis. Makeup, which is supposed to make your skin look better, also ends up highlighting the pimples and spots on women’s faces. Men, on the other hand, who do not have access to cosmetics, are forced to live with their flaws.
So, when a product like ClearPores comes out promising clearer skin after following their 3-step system, the majority of acne sufferers will jump on board…
Should you, however, do so?
Let’s look at ClearPores in more detail.
The first step in learning how to treat this skin condition is to figure out what’s causing it. Acne is caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, bacteria exposure, and poor skincare habits. While adolescents are the most susceptible to breakouts, they can occur at any age.
Furthermore, genetics play a significant role in acne. If you have parents who have suffered from these conditions, you are more likely to develop them yourself.
If your body produces too much oil, you’re more likely to develop acne because oil clogs hair follicles, preventing your skin from breathing. This traps bacteria, which leads to infections and, as a result, a pimple outbreak.
If you have acne, the following factors will aggravate it:
According to the ClearPores website, “ClearPores has been scientifically formulated and is manufactured in a cGMP certified pharmaceutical-grade lab to combat your acne from BOTH the inside and the outside with a three-step system that aims to restore BALANCE to your skin.”
The ClearPores website, to their credit, tries to clarify that this isn’t an “overnight” cure for acne:
It takes time and dedication to break the cycle of acne flare-ups…
Yes, many of our ClearPores customers report that their overall skin condition improves in as little as 7-14 days. However, it takes about 90 days (3 months) of daily use of the entire skincare system to see more noticeable, long-term changes in your appearance.
This is NOT a 7-day miracle cure-all!
The acne cycle lasts about 2-3 weeks… As a result, breakouts that will occur in three weeks are just beginning to form now. And, by flushing out acne-causing toxins and bacteria, it takes about 30 days of supplementation to truly restore balance to your body.
The herbal supplement is the main difference between the ClearPores system and other popular 3-step systems. According to ClearPores, the first step in clearing acne begins on the inside. Because pores can trap excess oil and bacteria, the body’s immune system responds by inflaming the blockage, resulting in a pimple… As a result, the herbal supplement is the first step in their system.
The following are the ingredients found in each step of the ClearPores cleansing system, as described on their website:
While the Herbal Supplement appears to be free of any overtly suspicious or dangerous ingredients, we must look into the Facial Wash and Protection Cream. Methylparaben and Propylparaben are both identified in both. Parabens are widely used in cosmetics to inhibit the growth of microbes. These parabens, which have been linked to a variety of cancers, can be absorbed through the skin, blood, and digestive system. Pregnant women and young children have been found to be the most vulnerable to their effects in numerous studies.
Polysorbate 20 is also noted as an ingredient in Facial Wash. Polysorbate is a sugar alcohol that is completely safe on its own.
However, it is treated with ethylene oxide when used in different products so that it can be used as an emulsifier in cosmetic creams. After being treated with ethylene oxide, an ingredient may become contaminated with 1,4-dioxane, a potentially hazardous by-product.
The ClearPores System is a blend of three simple-to-use goods, according to the ClearPores website:
Take 2 tablets of ClearPores Herbal Supplement at any time during the day.
Use ClearPores Facial Wash on moist skin for 2-3 minutes twice daily (morning and evening), avoiding contact with the eyes. Rinse with cool water carefully. Allow to air dry.
Wait 5 minutes after using the facial wash to apply ClearPores Protection Cream to ensure that the skin is fully dry. Apply a dime-sized amount to the face and neck, avoiding the sensitive eye region.
As you can see, using the ClearPores System is simple and can easily be incorporated into your morning and evening personal care routine.
A Deep Body Wash and a Body Protection Cream are also available on the site, though they are not listed as “required” steps in the cleansing system.
It took some effort to look into the ClearPores reviews. While some site reviews laud the ClearPores system, you may notice that the same “positive” reviews appear on other websites. Furthermore, many of the positive reviews appear to be very old (many from 2006).
Other sites, such as Acne.org and Amazon, appear to have a fairly even split of reviewers. The cost (it is one of the most expensive systems on the market), some people complained about an uncomfortable odor, but the most common complaint was that it did not appear to work. It’s unclear whether these customers invested the time and dedication to the system that the ClearPores website stated was required.
I adore the Clear Pores acne treatment for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, I admire the system’s philosophy. If you’re a regular visitor to this site, you’ll notice that “beauty from the inside out” is a common theme. Healthy skin, I’ve always believed, is a reflection of a healthy body.
To that end, I am a huge fan of the Clear Pores system’s strategy. No other company has attempted to address acne’s underlying causes. The system’s safe, natural supplement targets all of acne’s internal causes – bacteria, inflammation, and toxins – while the topical facial wash and protective cream target current skin eruptions. I’m excited to have a natural and safe solution to my acne woes, having personally experienced the side effects of anti-biotics and tough topical products.
Here are a few other things we enjoy:
Despite all of the positive aspects of the Clear Pores acne solution system, there are a few flaws I’d like to point out:
To begin with, results take time to appear. I’m not sure about you, but I prefer instant gratification. Particularly when it comes to having a lovely complexion. Especially since I’ve been plagued by blemished skin for so long. So, a word of caution: you may not see results right away.
Remember, this is an ‘inside-out’ treatment plan. Though topical products may help reduce redness and shrink pores, it may take a few weeks or longer for your system to rid itself of the bacteria and toxins that are causing your breakouts.
The good thing is that you have three months to try the product and if you don’t get the results you want, you can return it for a full refund, no questions asked.
Second, even though the protective cream is very moisturizing, it may not be enough for women of a certain age. Despite being acne-prone, my skin is extremely dry. As a result, I sincerely hope that Clear Pores develops a targeted cleanser and moisturizing cream to address the needs of mature skin.
However, I was able to work around this problem. I began integrating other organic anti-aging products into the mix once my body had detoxed and I began to see measurable results. This strategy, however, should only be used if you’ve been on the program for at least a month.
Clearpores can be purchased directly from the company’s website. You then type in “ClearPores” in the search box.
You can choose from a variety of bundles or purchase the supplement separately.
A bottle of the herbal supplement (60 capsules) costs $50.95 on its own.
You can choose from many bundles if you want to try the entire treatment system:
If you have body acne, you can purchase a month’s supply of each product for $69.95 (the manufacturers provide a body wash instead of a facial wash).
For $ 69.95, you can get a month’s supply of facial wash, cream, and supplements to help with facial breakouts.
If you want to treat your entire body, you can purchase a $99.95 bundle that includes all of the items as well as a bonus product.
In the end, you should weigh the benefits and drawbacks of ClearPores before using it, just as you would with any other product. Because everyone’s skin is different, this product may or may not work for you. Test on a small part of your skin before applying it to your whole face. If your skin responds favorably, you can begin treatment.
We believe ClearPores is a good acne solution after reviewing it and reading other people’s reviews. Is that the best option? We’re not convinced it’s the best choice because it’s a little more expensive and contains some ingredients that have been associated with side effects. However, the only way to know if it’s right for you is to give it a shot. You can always switch to something else if you don’t like it.
